Bullion dealers must know who they sell to and buy from. For online orders of £5,000.00 or more we run an electronic identity check against your name and address at checkout. Most people pass instantly and never hear about it.
If the electronic check cannot confirm you, we email you for a photo of your passport or driving licence and a recent utility bill or bank statement before we dispatch. Documents are deleted once the check is complete and the retention period in our anti-money-laundering policy has passed.
At the counter, bring photo ID for any purchase or sale.
